I got a Yakima Megawarrior, Yakima also sells light tabs, axe/shovel holders and a tire mount for their racks. It has worked out well for the past 2-3 years.

Go to North Shore Off Road to see the Surco one. There is also a branch in Surrey. It is solid mounted aluminum rack and the N Van shop guy has one mounted on his Gr Cher. I like it. Surco is a very good company and I spoke to the owner about some specialty mounts... very responsive.

I also have a steel Yakima Loadwarrior which mounts onto the cross bars but I like the Surco which mounts to the side rails which is more solid and will hold more weight. Given the price and strength, go with Surco.

I got the mopar one.( mopar part # 82209125). I got it at the dealer for $288.15 (this was with 15% off). I know this sounds like a lot compared to some other baskets, but you have to factor in that this rack bolts right to the side rails-no crossbars needed(That saves you $165.00? right there). And it comes with a cool fairing that blocks the wind (It really made a difference when I installed the fairing on the second day for highway speeds- no "Buffetting").And the fairing says "Jeep". But I do know that the surco and others are expandable if you want something bigger...
Good luck...

I think we might b able to expand the MOPAR one too...i'm looking at doing it using a yakima extension...seeing that Yakima designed the MOPAR one from what my dealer told me...and i recall reading it elsewhere too..

Here is the ROLA roof basket on mine... You can't beat the price at $150 and the quality is very good.

I like how the lines follow the contour of the back of the jeep as well...

Like the shape of that basket but man is it way high over the roof, mines only about 2 inches above the roof line sort of even with the side bars
Oh yes I am cheap so I got one of the BMGs or whatever they are.

The Colman company has a good looking one but I don't know who makes it. I think it was $200.00. Lantern not included :D

Easy...you just have to find a picture hosting site. I use www.photobucket.com You load your pics there, then they will give you a URL for the address to the pic. Copy this. Then, come back here, type a message, hit the "Img" button (this tells the forum you are about to insert code for a picture) then paste it. Easy Hit the "Img" button again to close the code

Oh, delete the code before and after the actual picture code. You will know what that is because its in quotation marks.

OR....you can just email them to me, and I will host them csukoh78 AT yahoo.com

anyone know if there are any discount coupons avaiable for mopar accessories, namely the mopar roof basket ? i'm dying to get one, but i cant justify the $300 or so that they're asking for it. i COULD justify $250 or so, hoping some discout coupon would bring it down to that..

Try sending an e-mail to jparts.com and see how much they would charge you for the basket, usually they take the standard Mopar price and take 15% off of it or more and that is what you pay.

Etrailer.com has the Rola basket for $150 US, not canadien. Still seems like a good deal. Considering using the Rola basket, with the mount kit from AllJ's. Looking for a lower profile.
