Sorry for asking more than one question at a time. I've been looking, I know I have seen it posted, with pictures even, I just can't find. I what to put hockey pucks for the rear bump stops, but not 100% sure where. Do you pull out old BS, cut puck to size, drill holes and put shaved puck inside where old BS was and thread bolt into frame, or can you just drill hole into perch on axle, counter sink hole into puck and add bolt???? Next question, lockers, I've read alot about and seems that I would be better off with trutrac from DL. I just want to add to rear, pro's and con's with only adding to rear. Not a huge crawler, I've got the lift & tires to crawl, just on highway more than offroad (for now). I just want to get my power back after adding 31x10.50's. Next question, air intake. Of all the pictures I've seen posted they show the CIA going into a box at throttle body, my "04" Libby Limited goes from OE airbox straight to throttle body. Rusty's sells an airtube connector that holds a K&N cone filter, would I be able to get some aluminum tube have bent and be good? There are some hoses that go OE airbox, where should I go with them? Do I have to worry about vapor lock or any other problems, or should I quit crying and drop the $250 or so for proper kit. Is it even worth it????

1. You leave the stop bumpstop where its at and drill a hole in the spring perch.

2. Adding a locker will not give more power. You would need to add 4:10 gears front and rear to gain the torque back that you lost with the bigger tires. You can get the rear gears from many places.. The Chrysler 8.25 is a common axle. You can get the front from a 4banger liberty or from the dealer($$$).

I have the Power-Trax No-Slip and its 'ok'.. The road manners seem to be going down hill. Its getting to where it doesnt like to lock up when offroad also. :?

3. Cold Air Intakes do not seem to be worth it since the stock intake is so good on the libertys. More so since you have an 04, you dont have the silencer box on-top of the throttle body. A tube that is metal will not perform as good as a tube that is plastic. Metal conducts better and the heat from the engine will heat the air in the intake up.

So no, 'I' do not believe its worth it.

Thanks for reply, and thanks for post on garage sale. I've already got pucks so now I know where they go. So I could just do ring and pinion and gear up to 4.10 and be good? I have not been unhappy with OE diff's offroad performance, just lost get up and go with larger tires. As far as CIA's go I guess it just looks better when you pop the hood than OE airbox.

Yup, changing out to 4:10 gears will gain some torque back.

haha, yea, Ive always wanted a CAI so that it will look cool when I open the hood. On most vehicles, a CAI will improve performance and it possibily could on the 3.7 if you put a muffler, new throttle body, nd CAI on it.
