 Post subject: what size tire has worked well with a 2.5 lift?

I have a 03 sport with 2.5 lift 16 stock rims. what works the best? I will be on the road, beach and trails about twice a year

The correct size is 245/75/16. As far as tires go I would recommend the BFG All Terrains KO 245/75/16. They have been a great tire for my truck. They quite on the road, awsome in the snow, and great offroad. Perfect tire in my opinion. I will get them for my KJ when my MTR's where out.

I've seen numerous rigs with the 245/70R16 at 29.5 inches tall. They seem to fill out the wheel wells pretty well. Would they rub less at full wheel turn. As a compromise, I have been considering 235/75R16 which is 29.8 inches tall.
