It's just the trim. These are taken off when boulderbars or sliders are added to a vehicle. I guess you can velcro that spot, or just take the entire thing off and get some rails when you can.

By taking those off you gain .001mpg and about 200hp.

Right now, mine are somewhere in the middle of the woods as one started coming off while offroading and was catching every twig in the forest. So i ripped em off.

Just leave it, see how long it will hold on. My guess is 6.35 years.

Popped the one on my left side off last time wheeling....nothing has fallen off since and no major problems. I was told by someone that it might regulate the muffler bearings and if it becomes detached you may experience issues witht the muffler bearing sensor. :D

Just stick some peanut butter in there like chetos said if you're really worried.

i like the peanut butter fix Cheetos! Personally, i'd be more concerned about the dent/scratch in your rocker panel. Not a bad one but i'd get some rails B4 any real damage takes.

Good luck man!

You may have broken the plastic clip that holds the trim tightly against the body. But you know what, when you put on a Boulder Bar, it'll be snug again :)
