When: 5-26-07 unless we change it *edit* 5-27-07 unless the old man can't crawl out of bed because of Sat. march  BTW this is an offical change

Why: Because Jeepinal has a new Jeep that has not even gotten dirty yet

Tell her its like this

"You are willing to take me for better or worse well I am sure there are things that will be worse than me moving the wedding to another day so that I can make this ride and have one last day of fun before my life gets sucked out of me"

If you put it to her just like that I am sure she will understand.

OK is there anyway we can make Sunday, since I am figuring most have Monday off? Let me know.

All of sudden the NJ Jeep Club has been asked to march in a memorial day parade, and since I did it last year, I was invited to "march" this year!

I'm interested, but don't put me down as a definite yet. Gotta check some things first.

Put me down as a definite maybe. I'm not sure if I can get out of work or not. It is a major weekend for me. Moving the ride to Sunday makes it probable but not definite. I will have to be a last minute add on.

It also depends on whether or not my skids come in. Nudge, Nudge; Wink, Wink. Just kidding Al.

Well, I put in my request to get the day off and I checked with the other boss (wife), so I should be good to go. If anything changes I'll let ya'll know. Been waiting to get back to Rausch so I can get revenge on that tree stump that broke my tie rod last time  . Hope we can get a good turn out.

I hope you don't mind I posted the ride up on the NJJC web site. I am not sure if anyone will come with us, but they are a good bunch of guys, some of them very extreme.

I am hoping that we do green and blues, until I figure out how to trail ride again with a clutch, it been about 15 years since I went off road with a manual. :?

Ask anyone at GWNF last month. I was starting to be known as "Stall King".

By the way, has anyone notified Lynn that we have a group coming that day. I realize they will probably be busy anyway with the holiday and Paragon being closed but we should still let her know we're coming anyway.

It's been real quiet around here lately. It's about time to start talking about where we will meet up for the run. Most times I've been to Rausch, we meet at the Exxon/truck stop at the exit (104 I think) south of the exit to get to the park. Sound okay to everyone? What time are we shooting for?

The real question is "how early do you want to get up?" Do we want to be on the trails by 9:00, so we should meet at the station at 104 at 8:00. leave at 8:15, get to the park at 8:30 or so. I think your point about calling ahead is a good idea, I will do that today, and say there will be 5 of us.

I am planning on nothing really hard (by than my son may have his Jeep stock YJ). So we may need to do the bunny trails in the morning.

It is also a manual, and he has never driven one, so we just may leave it home.

Bunny Trails  No way man I am a Hard Core Red Trail type of guy  It will not matter much to me what time we get on the trails but since 9:00 is our norm that sounds good to me. I will try to be there on time with a full tank of gas.

Soooo, did you go? Did you break things in right? Did everyone manage to crawl out of bed early enough?

Yes we did, and no one either had a camera, or we were to lazy to take pictures  We had Chris' LJ Ruby, Dave's trail ready LJ, a XJ. a Dodge Ramcharger, and my Ruby.

We rode green and blues all day, and had a blast. No break downs, tested the skid plates, and generally enjoyed self guided tour of the park.

With the added traffic due to Paragon being closed, the Rausch trails are getting worn and crowded. :?

We left before the storms hit, I was home around 6:00, just in time to sit and eat with the family. My lazy stupid son couldn't get out of bed in the morning, I think he just wanted to stay home with his "new" YJ.

Lets just say Dave and I got up early, Dave much earlier than I!

What a polite way of saying Chris was late again.

Sounds like fun. Sorry I had to work and didn't make the ride. Soon I'll have some free time again to go out. The good news is Paragon is close to reopening. A few guys from BMJA spent the last two weekends helping cutting trails on there new property. I hear it’s very small. So much so they do not plan to open it up to the public. But will give them some where to hold the Paragon Jeep Jamboree and run there dealership rides. Stephanie reports on BMJA’s site there close to closing on a much larger parcel of land about the same size as there old park.
