I'm going to buy some soft 8s and cant decide on BS. Looks like my choices are 4.5 and 5.0 inch. I want the outside of the tire to be even with the edge of the flare. My concern is that the 5.0 BS wont quite get it there. But will 4.5 be too much and cause rubbing / stuffing issues? Any help on this would be appreciated, as I only want to buy these wheels once! Thanks in adavance.

Sorry I left that out. They would be 16x8. I'm running 235-70 tires right now, but want to go to 245-70 or 245-75 when those wear out. I have 2.5" Rusty's coil lift.

The 16x8's with 5"BS would be the same as the MOAB rims alot of poeple are running.I have 16x7's with 4.5" BS and run 265/75's without problems(remember I don't run rear flares either).The 5" BS would be just fine with 245/70 or 245/75's.Also you'd be pushing it putting 235's on a 8" rim,it'll look kinda funny and wear the outside edges first even with the correct psi,a 7" rim would be better for 235's but since you want bigger anyway then go for it,it'll wear those suckers out that much faster.
