I was reading and haven't heard good things about the Rocky Road 2.5" budget lift system and I have heard good things about Rusty's 2.5" Strut Spacer Lift.

These look vary similar could somebody give me some direction. For now want cheap want to stick around 200 bucks.

What are some pros and cons?

Are you going to be doing any kind of off-roading?

From what i've gathered, no OTT spacer lift is really good and usually causes more problems and costs more money in the long run then it would cost to just get the rusty's suspension lift.

I will do a little off roading on the weekends I mostly want to fit a bigger tire. Dream of taking it to Moab one of these days. 80% of the time it will just be dirt road and around town so I want to keep a smooth ride on the pavement.

Then save up til you have about $400 and get Rusty's coil lift. Trust me, it will ride a LOT better than with spacers.

RRO has a good lift called the Combo but the Budget OTT is more harmful than good in most instances

CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! And yes I did yell that.

Oh, by the way I used the OTT lift and it blew my front spring and struts in 20K miles. Rocky Roads service is the worst.

I was lucky and heard the the bad info about the OTT before i insatlled it. Sold it for next to nothing(exactly what its worth  ) since RRO wouldn't help me out in any manner. I know thats the last time i will deal with them!

Save your money and get a coil ONLY lift
spacer preload the springs and make the ride worse IF they are placed with in the strut/spring assembly

I know of not one person who has complained about the ride of a coil only lift
and with the exception of the poor rear shocks the Rustys coil lift is probably the best bang for your buck but UP GRADE the rear shocks to either the OME or ranchos
I have the OME springs and shocks with the Rancho struts and it was worth every dime

I completely agree that the coil lift is the way to go.

Even with the Rusty's shocks, it takes just a couple washers (or bushings from old shocks) to properly fit them on the KJ. The noises could be reduced for next to nothing if he's on a tight budget.
