Badlands in June???

I've not been to badlands. Could someone tell me what town is nearby that I can google maps to? Any other info anyone feels like throwing out there would be appreciated as well. Thanks!

I got the backup light mount on this page, and I think I'm gonna modify it to hold a backup light in the center, and a flag and CB ant. on either side.

they have flags there for ~$10 (maybe its 5?), but you could just get some fiberglass rod and a orange cloth square/triangle

Yeah, definately still a go! i may have a buddy come along too. i was going to check next week about meeting up but might as well throw it out now.

Last time went to Badlands i hooked up w/a few guys at the Hinsdale Oasis on 294 between 290 and 55. Anyone from Chicagoland area interested in doing that? Would plan on meeting there about 7:00am on the 16th. If interested just type Hinsdale after your name on the list, cut & repaste. Anyone interested i will PM my cell # to so we can talk/coordinate on that day.

Radios: if you have CB that's great, i do not. However, i do have hand held radios that i have always used & they work pretty well w/in a group. If anyone has those you may want to bring 'em.

Tools/recovery: i have a tow strap but my tools belong to work so i cannot bring. If any have trail tools willing to bring that would be great too.

Tools: I have a (crappy) set of basic tools. This has enough to take apart the front suspension.
Recovery: I have straps

Radios: No CB. But, I have 2 FRS/GMRS radios (1 of which I will use and 1 can be given to someone else to use)

you guys need to get atleast handheld CB's makes trail riding much easier no having to repeat instructions or that you cleared a obsticle more than once. just a suggestion as a future mod. I'm still a posible i wont find out till the friday before.

I bought my flag at Walmart for $5 (just a bike flag)
