This evening my girlfriend took my Jeep to get pizza and when she got back she said it was running 'funny'. I checked the codes...P0102 (due to ORM) and P0093 which I equate to air in the lines. I bled the filter and it took about 30 seconds to get the air out. I hadn't driven the Jeep for a few days due it being great motorcycle weather.

Later I was leaving the house and when the Jeep got to about 20 mph it died. Didn't sputter, just instantly shut off. I put it in park, cycled the power, and it started right up. I went through about 10 cycles of dying, restart, etc. I was back in my driveway by now, so I revved the motor to around 3000-3500 rpm for 15-20 seconds. After that it ran fine. I drove it for a couple miles without a problem. It still showed codes P0093 and P0102.

Would air in the fuel lines cause that problem? :?

Ever since I converted to the CAT fuel filter I've regularly gotten the P0093 code.

This sounds like a classic air bubble in the fuel line or filter. It will be prone to stalling until the air bubble clears the system by either bleeding/burping or running long enough to pull it through. I found mine prone to loosing prime after extended parking. Eventually traced it to the fuel filter head leaking through the heater element.

Check out this link about a little device that will greatly improve the bleeding the air from system and help eliminate the air getting in around the other common place for air leaks and that is the bleed screw. Bleed Screw replacement
