I was driving at 30 km/h when it stalled and would not restart. I checked to see if there was air in the fuel...nope. Towed it to the dealer and just received a call that they are waiting for a new cam position sensor, it will be here tomorrow, and I will be up and running. Anyone have one of these go yet? I have had various sensors fail over the years with different vehicle, but never one that had only 39000 km on it.

Ah well, this is the first issue with the CRD and not a big deal.

I`m 99% sure thats whats wrong with mine.
had it towed to dealer and they thought I had screwed it up with the cat filter
 after several days they called DC and suspect crank sensor.
Said it will be here thursday. We`ll know then :D

Crank sensor failure is very common on just about everything, gas or diesel.
