So on Saturday I did maintenace on the Jeep...

I did some seafoam to start things off but didn't get as much smoke as I remember [from doing this on my Mustang.] It was light to moderate in thickness so I am wondering where I errored or if I errored. Has anyone else done it and noticed only a small amount of smoke?

My Liberty has 60,2xx miles on it

I did mine just last week and had a limited amount of smoke. Since I have done this though the MPG have slightly increased and I don't feel chunky when starting off the line.

So maybe the intake wasn't really that dirty to begin with... Oh well, it is all clean in there for sure now!

I saw a slight bump up on my EVIC mileage briefly [to 15.8 average] but am now back down to my normal 15.7 on the EVIC. All of this should change back up to 15.8+ with fresh oils and plugs.

Of the maintenance you mentioned doing the plugs made the biggest difference in my mileage (like 2 mph difference).

How long did you let it sit in there? I sucked the whole can down in the engine then shut it off and let it sit for like 15min. Then started it, a few min later the smoke show started.

It was in there for about 10 minutes and then I fired up the motor.... Runs like a champ now, I was just "weireded-out" by the lack of a smoke grenade
