Has anyone replaced their drivers side half shaft. My CV is going out. Any recommended replacements would be appreciated. Plus any advise on problems you've encounter replacing one.

Thanks,

JE Reel makes upgraded replacement CV joints, but they are expensive (http://www.reeldriveline.com/). I just installed the pass. side one this past weekend. Kinda pricey, but better flexability and more durable. Places like Napa should also carry replacements.

I've had success with AutoParts Warehouse online:

Wonder what the difference in the CVU and the ARC is? I know its brand name but is it worth that much more? I didnt know they were that cheap! :D

TBO, considering how much more time it takes to replace just a boot as opposed to just swapping the whole joint, it's probably cheaper to replace the joint itself because the labor hours would be like 1/10th

Yeah I wonder what the difference is too.

If I remember right the axle nut is a 35mm right? I'm pretty sure.

I don't think I'll be using JE Reel right now. A little bit to much for me.
