Thats good news, will the Rustys coils support this with no issues though. Now im worrying about that.... I dont want to have to replace the springs in a year either due to sag. Anyone know if the RL or ARB is lighter. RL looks lighter from the pics but im not sure of the construction techniques of either.

I have Rusty's coils. He said it's fine. But I didn't go for a winch to avoid adding another 100 or so lbs. I have no sag from the bumper. The total bumper's ship weight was 130 lbs. The bumper is a bit less. Don't forget that the stock mounting hardware comes off and that's about 30-40lbs.

I went to a truck scale before and after and the bumper added a total of 120 lbs to my KJ. That's on a scale that's rounded to 20 lbs, so there's some margin in there.

Nice, thanks for the info. I just spoke with the ARB distributor here and he said $868 plus shipping costs. Shipping weight is 150lbs according to him. Im going for the estimate this afternoon at 3:00. Ill post the results and maybe pics if I can get in there with the guy.

How does the stock bumper hardware equal 30-40 lbs? I thought it was only the plastic part of the bumper that comess off the car leaving the main bumper frame intact to bolt the ARB to?

Bumpers and hardware are still steel. It's just that they live inside the plastic covers.

jdumont, the bumper cover only weighs around 15 lb, but the tow hooks, fog light brackets, and jounce bumpers also need to be removed.
