Does your state have a lemon law? I think you only need to take it in 3 times for the same problem before you ask for a replacement, but I am no lawyer.

We do, 4 times within 2 yrs. for the same problem. Michigan does have other laws that may protect me in this situation.
I have no intention on getting the law involved quite yet, I just want the dang vehicle fixed!

I don't think anybody is telling you to call a mouth piece yet.

Just remeber that when or IF you need to go that route there is ONLY one truth.

"He who has the MOST paper Work and Documentation, WINS!"

Keep Impecable records. Photographs are even better. Write down the names of EVERYBODY at the dealership you deal with, times dates....

If it happens again, PHOTOGRAPH the wet carpet and water damage. Any rust and mold, learn how to make that show up in pictures.

Blotter paper is great cuz is shows moistuer and makes it eaiser to photograph.

Just be prepared for any possible out come.

I've been doing my homework, I promise :D

I'll have to research that blotter paper.

Thanks for the help!

It once took me about that long to find a leak in a 78 Thunderbird, back when I worked for ....FORD. Ended up being in a strange place. If the car sat on a little slant front down hill when it rained it would go into the right outside miror housing, run down through the plastic tube that the controls ran in, that tube ended right over the gas pedal. So the guy always parked in the same place and not a drop of water anywhere after a rain, he would back out of his driveway, start up the road, go around a right hand curve and ...the water would pour out on his right foot! The water was filling up in the tube and then when the car leaned going throught the turn it would come out. So they sometimes can be hard to find, frustrating for you and the mechanic trying to find it

So far the dealership has had the Jeep for 10 days and can't locate the water leak. They have had it through the car wash numerous times and been spraying it with their high pressure water gun. They called me late last Friday and requested to keep the Jeep until it rains, to try and replicate the issue. Now they just called me back today and asked if I will return their loaner vehicle and pickup my Jeep in it's current state, completely stripped interior.....Their reasoning is that no rain is in the forecast and they "need their loaner back".

This dealership is a joke.
