Looks like an easy way to mount up 4 lights and it comes in four widths. Not too bad price wise. $165 - $218 for an already built cage. Could even make it a quick disconnect. Wonder if they'd do a group buy?! :D

I dunno, gotta be at least 9" since that's the diam of the lights it'll hold. I'd say add an inch or 2 for the cage. Should com in at around 12" tall or just under I would think. Email em and see if they'll fax or .pdf you a better diagram or mounting instructions.

I like the fact that it looks like a stray tree branch taking your lights out is a little harder to do now. I wonder what the wind noise is like coming off that thing. Bet it whistles like a train.

Still cool looking

I think it looks good......BUT......way to big. On a pick-up it would look good. I'm putting 3 lights on my rack but they will be rectangular. They are only 2" high and 5" wide. They will blend in with the rack.

See thats why I dont have any on my rack now, to me even a 5 or 6 inch light looks too big, trying to keep the round look going with lights but leaning towards retangular ones just for the size etc. Well plus the rack is more or less square anyways

I just spoke with the company about wind noise. They have not specificly tested this on a KJ, but they have had them on several other jeeps, GMC's Fords... and they have heard some wind noise as you would expect, but no whistling.

Might have to give em a try.

As a side note, Theri mounting system for their baskets is cool. uses the existing rails and no need for any cross memebers. so the stacking look of cross members then basket is not there. lower profile and looks strong. this in turn would keep the light housing lower to the roof and much cleaner looking.
