If you have a Class 3/4 hitch on the back and remove that along with the fascia, then it isn't really that much heavier.

with the rear bumper... which is being finished up by marty, will i need to get a different ball hitch, perhaps one that will allow for up and down travel, or is a regular ball hitch okay?

So what was the verdict on the hitch? Did it bend the frame or the hitch?

If the door doesnt work right, make them fix it.

it's all good actually. the hitch took none of the force, just looks like it did.

You could have posted the pic with the 35's on it

glad you are ok.

As for the tire carrier latch, this is the third style, and it works the best, and it is the same thing the big companies use for thw wrangler and some XJ carriers.

riptricket, glad you're still walking! it looks like the hitch protected the gas tank. think it would have been worse without the hitch?

woody, look over your shoulder in the future. it could have been a neighbor's kid and not some dum**ss. i speak from $5K worth of experience my '78 Ram van did to some jakov's Blazer. now i look and listen every time!

See a good chiropractor (not the kind that tries to fix liver cancer, the ones that focus on relieving binding/pressure in your spine). It's usually covered under personal injury insurance and can help a good bit. Might take a few months, but you'll be back to selling chinos before too long :)
