hmmm...

Should I be concerned? I ended up getting 7/16 course thread and they fit perfect. I even had to clean out a couple of the threads to get them to screw in any farther. There was absoulutely NO play in them when I tested.

I would be since the they are supposed to be metric, plus 7/16" is equal to 11mm,so the 7/16" bolts are a 1mm to small in diameter and you have rust just holding them in and they could pull out at anytime.

Take the original (if you have a gas tank skid) bolts in to Lowes or Home Depot to test them on those bolt boards to know what threads you have and then get some slightly longer.

So, the hitch made it to you?

Yep, got it and installed it last night. Thanks! I don't have any skids at the moment so I don't have any bolts to compare to.

TJKJ - I made sure all the threads were cleaned (wire brush & air) out before I installed every thing and didn't see any rust at all. As I said before it was a snug fit. I'm not saying I don't believe you by any means cause you definitely know more then I do but I would think if the bolts were a mm to small there would be a little play in them when they were screwed in. I'll have to go get some 12x1.75 bolts and compare them this weekend and see what works.
