Yea so, I lost one of my key fobs and I want to replace it. I found one on ebay but I was wondering if there was any way I could program the fob my self or will I have to take it to the dealer ?

I bought a FOB for another car (olds) on EBAY. It came with instructions to program it. Just a series of clicks on the buttons on the remote and some playing with the lock button in the car.

Ask the seller on EBAY if instructions are included, if not, I don't know where to get those.

It is really easy to program a FOB yourself.

It seems to me that you need two active, working ones to make a third work or you need to go to the dealer. That's why I have been thinking of picking up a third.

With the Olds I programmed, I only had the new remote. It worked flawlessly.
I did not have 2 working remotes.
