JJsKJ's 8" lights installed

I put his 8" Procomps on the same bar I made for my 6" eBay specials. I haven't wired them up yet, and just snapped this today with my phone, but what do you think?

(I need to find stone gaurds for them instead of the white covers)

I think it looks a little silly... You're just missing some 2" foglights...

... If you're gonna put 4 lights on the front atleast make them all the same!

Very nice looking. I think you have almost every lighting situation covered. Now you just need some in the factory fog holes and you'll be set!!

I got one of the stock fogs from eBay for dirt cheap. It was never really a priority for me to get the 2nd since I'll be getting an aftermarket bumper one year (hopefully).

I'm thinking of running the smaller fogs as daytime running lights instead of having them switched. or just making them ALWAYS on, but that might get me in trouble.

I was wondering if you were thinking about an aftermarket bumper when I made that comment about filling the stock fog holes. All those lights would look NICE stretched across a nice metal bumper.

I use my stock fogs as DTRLs. They're always on. They switch off when I hit the high-beams though. Wiring something to be always-on in the state of VA will get you nailed. PA might be different, but I think most states have that "no secondary lights on while high-beams are on" rule. Never really figured that one out...I mean, the high beams are brighter than my fogs...why do the fogs need to go off when something brighter comes on???....but whatever. I have a lot bigger battles to fight when it comes to rediculous regulations.

The bar has 3 metal anchors on each side. It only bolts into the plastic, but because I have an '02, I actually have a solid plastic surface to bolt into. Plus, I made the bar myself, so made sure it was a snug fit. Compression more than anything else keeps it from moving around, the 6 screws are just insurance.

They Look great but I think Moving them to roof bar would give you further light range. Not to mention I have had cooling issues before. I've not had any cooling issues with '02 3.7 Sport, but have had with other vehicles (260 Z modified with headers and 3 weber duece carbs). Some people in Colorado have to put cardboard sheilds in front of their grills during winter months. Just concerned cause it does get a little warm in Florida

Looks great Gris, & I like how you made the bracket. It's a perfect fit

. Personally I'd be suprised if you had a cooling problems, the grill on the KJ is very open compared to a lot of other 4x4's on the road, + you light's arn't up against it which is allowing for plenty of air travel.

I can't find rock guards for them anywhere. KC makes some 8" covers, but not sure if they'd fit.

Guess I'm leaving them uncovered, or getting out my dremel and going to work on the big honking white plastic ones that come with em.
