I wonder if the ski/snowboard racks and bike racks from Yakima and Thule will work on those.

Marty, have you checked into that?

Marty,

The low profile rack is also what I am looking for.

An idea: anyway you can make a "cage" to protect the lights? Kind of like the defender racks? Maybe a treaded insert on the rack for the optional use of a protection frame to keep tree branchs from ripping your lights off?

Dude, you need to talk to somebody about protecting these ideas and getting some production help. I have a feeling that your email box is about to fill up and fast.

On the low profile rack pictured, are you allowing for wire storage in the lights?

You have really got my curiousity.

Keep it up. and I'm gonna go broke

Are there any plans to make the Defender rack a bit longer? Say enough so the rear end of the rack is flush with the top of the radius at the rear of the KJ & the front comes above the sunroof?

Skinks, rear bumpers, front bumpers, roof racks... Rock Lizard needs to come up with a credit card plan! :?

Marty, I don't need rails or rack but I do need Kayak mount for my roof rack :) Yes, I know Thule and Yakima makes them and stuff, but my rack is square tubing and as far as I know they don't mount directly to my rack.

Do you have any advice, ideas?

Of course I can take my roof rack off and put the factory rails back on when I want to go kayaking but I'm betting that will get old pretty fast.

It looks like this:

Am I gonna have to go with something fabbed up for that?

so looking at this all-in-one basket rails, will this be able to accommodate holding a spare up there?

I guess I should have added something else. When you add your name and what you are interested in to the list, please add "Immediate" or "When money tree grows", so I know how many are interested buying in on a first batch, so I know how many my tube guy will need to start on. I'm thinking I could put the tube order in September 1, so it's important to know how many are ready to buy. Looks like a lot are wanting Sport Racks, that's cool. Someday I'll build a sport rack for my XJ, because I personally like the design as well.
