Honestly, it is too bad that it doesn't display time. No kiddin here, I have been looking for a gauge that could fit into the gap next to cig lighter, that had backlit on demand with time display on screen, since I swapped my radio I don't have time. I slapped a $5 digital clock there, it is doing it's job.

Not much interest here it seems. I guess it is more of a deal with we CRD folks. Lots of happy owners there. If you don't have an EVIC or OTIS the ScanGaugeII will do that and more, but sorry no clock.

Yes, it seems like the great substitution for OTIS as it has similar information, with even more added options.
I also like the graphical ones, but since I park on the street it is just inviting vandals.

I thought the ScanGauge wasn't compatible with the CRDs systems? Some functions including mpg readings didn't work due to the two control system between VM and DC modules?

That is correct from my understanding although it does work for a time then needs to be reset. Linear Logic is working on new features that may resolve part of this that can be updated when available but I don't think they can fix this as it is a CRD issue not a ScanGaugeII issue. Still it works to reset the CEL for the ORM or, from my understanding, to read new CELS that might occur if you have not reset the ORM CEL and another occurs. Most CRD owners here are very happy with their ScanGaugeII even though the Jeep design has it check out on many of the features.

As far as street issues in NY, the unit need not be a permenant install, most are not. It simply plugs into the OBDII port and can be velcroed to the dash.
