Bought my '06 limited in another state and trailered it home. When I went to pick it up the dealer
told me it had a problem with the windows rolling forward. They didn't have time to look into it but
it had only 6800 mi. on it and was still on warranty so I could take it in when I got home.
My first visit to the dealership at home was for an oil change just to see how they would react to a CRD.
I mentioned the window problem and without hesitation they told me it was a common issue and easily
fixed. I was told the regulator didn't stabilize the window well enough against the resistance of the agressive
window seal when going up.
Fix pending.

'03 here with no regulator problems but if I leave the passenger front window down enough to still be covered by the vent cover it squeaks and rattles like crazy...roll it down further and it is fine.

Same year, same problem except it's on my drivers side

i had the front windows in my 06 jump the track and also were very slow coming up (about half speed of the rear) I took it to a dealer who "greased" it, and it was the same, took it to another dealer after it jumped the track again who aligned it and greased it, and haven't had any issues since then. This was all before I had "aftermarket" tint on my windows.

I didn't realize I was having a problem with my front window, but luckily a kind stranger stopped by and felt the need to help me open it.

Naturally, to add insult to injury....it was pouring rain all day. I just wish he would of kissed me first before he decided to @#$% me!

Hard to see in the pic's, but instead of just smashing the window, he wedged a bar into the door jamb to break the window....so....$1200.00 dollars later, she's back to normal....

Yeah, what he said. :) Removing the door panels was the worst part of the whole job...oh and paying for the regulator when I was so close to my bumper-to-bumper having just run out.

My driver's side window will come up and then start going away from the track, and then will pull back into the track as it's going up. It quit for a while after some WD40, but now it's started again.

Not sure if I want the dealer to tear my door apart to look at it, so I'm waiting to see if it gets any worse.

My rear windows both completely stopped working (none of the switches work).

Anyone with any ideas why?

Assuming you don't mean the rear-facing switches (those can be locked out by the driver via a toggle switch), then maybe a broken fuse or loose harness?
