I'm thinking of getting the Mp3 your car ipod2car CH3 for $149.99 from their website but had a question about it. My radio is the 2005 single CD but it has a 'mode' control like the site calls for. Will this work? Does this radio have the cd changer connector in the back of the radio to hook the adaptor to or not?

I am not sure but I think the DC 6 disc changers are all in dash units instead of seperate ones with a connector. You should just take the stereo out and see first hand to make sure

the single disc units are capable of supporting a DC 6-disc changer that would b located in the cargo area. so if you dont already have a DC changer, then you should have that port on the back of the radio unused.

If you have the mode button, you are good to go. There is a gray square connector on the back of the stereo. Unplug whatever is in there. Mine had a harness going to it, but I guess it was for the unused sat radio.

Thanks for all the replies, I'm going to go ahead and order the ipod adaptor. I just wanted to be sure without having to remove the radio first to check for the connection and then do it over again once the adaptor arrives. I hate doing things twice. I guess it makes sense if you have a one CD radio that the 6 changer can be hooked up to it later. A friend of mine at work just added a 6 changer in the cargo and he has the same radio so that tells the story. Thanks again.

Let us know how your install went. I have the USA spec iPod adaptor (plugs into the cd changer port) and it works so much better than a FM transmitter.

I took a look at these and the cost of the ones I can get in canada works out to pretty much the same thing as a new deck. with the aux in or usb in.
