Anybody have any pics or service manual images of the make up of the front bumper/facia and underlying structure?

Looking to find out about light mounting possibilities and would like some insight before tearing into it.

I don't think there is any difference between the '07 and the '05 and newer rigs. Should be lots of pics on '05 and newer rigs in here somewhere. The actual front metal work hasn't changed much if at all, just the plastic has, the bumper post here have pics of a bare front end. You've got a Jeep now, we're more of a climb in and getter done crowd, this is one of the simpler things you'll come across with your rig. Need help putting it back together, than more will help I'm sure, just wade in there.

That is what I was thinking that most if not all of the changes between years was just cosmetic. I wan to fab some steel "L" brackets and mount them to the steel innards of the bumper. This will give my new lights a secure home till i can afford my ARD bumber.

Thanks,

0311_DoC,

Do you have any images of the mounting points of the bumper facia?

How involved is it to remove the plastic to get to the metal part?

all you have to do is take off the grill, and then there are like four (4) bolts underneath the bumper. I will look for some more pics.

Look at your bumper's center, on either side there a preformed cutouts for the recovery hooks. They also make nice mounting points for all kinds of things.
