You just have to find the best medium in you area for selling cars. Where I live it used to be the newspaper a decade ago. Then it was the Auto trader, but most recently the best place to sell has been through the local news station's classified adds on the web. So you may be in the wrong place. Autotrader is on the way out.

I got 12K for my 03 Renegade from the dealer back in May.
Was lifted, had plenty of trail rash.

If the dealer told you that, he probably lied and instead let go of some of their markup and holdback money on the JK. Look at the bill of sale. The way dealerships play with numbers on those documents is laughable. Such a scam. I hate buying cars. Even when you know you're getting a good deal, you're never getting the best deal.

I'm not calling you a liar, just expressing some distrust about dealer practices.

I'm sorry, but I am going to agree that it is priced way too high. I tried to sell my 2002 a year ago for $13000 (KBB value at the time) and we had absolutely no interest in the month that it was on autotrader. Gas prices now are not going to help any. Although you said this is not a "parting thread", which I don't care because I'm not buying anything, I would take everything off before attempting to sell it. The majority of KJ buyers are not interested in four wheeling and will start to question the vehicle if it appears to have been offroad frequently.

BTW, in retrospect, I'm extremely glad mine did not sell.

I bought my 05 with 32000 miles in august for $13000 and I thought that was pretty good. Its all about the price now a days.

Unfortunately, you are really behind the eight ball. First of all, with the new body style coming out, it gives the old body style a hit right off the bat. Next, and perhaps more importantly, is the new lifetime warranty....as one earlier post said, you can get a new '07 in the 17k range w/ the VERY attractive lifetime warranty. You might want to keep it a couple of more years. As far as me, I plan on still driving it 20 years from now...
