Oh, a 50K per year. I'm 30K per, so I'll get there in the year 2014. My 06 is at 24.5K per 9.5 months, and just had the 30K service and blower motor recall item.

Having that many miles in such a short time doesn't really tell you how well the engine will hold up. I am sure that is a lot of highway mileage and very little accelerate/stop/accelerate/stop and start up/turn off/start up/turn off.

It is great to see that mileage on the engine, though.

It is extremely good news to me, as I will have that kind of mileage in about 3/4ths the time that he did, and it will definitely NOT be easy miles that go on mine. So far, LBJ recalls, an o2 sensor and stuff that I caused, myself, is all that's gone wrong with mine, as well... knock on fiberboard.

yeah you never know when things go thru heat and cool cycles alot (such as in city driving with small trips) but i see this as a postitve sign to come for the liberty brand! i suppose the transmission has spent most of its life with the torque converter locked up and enjoying low highway temps! the 42rle seems to be one of dc's better transmissions in a while (as long as it is serviced and not abused). at least it is step up from the 42re in the six cylinder grand!mike

I have 125,000 miles on my 04 and just recently i had to get the transmission mount, 2 engine mounts the rear upper ball joint, the rear bushes and the belt tentioner replaced in mine, the only other parts i had to replace are the LBJ recall and my upper a arm bushes

that what you get for taking them off road i guess

I just went over 50K tonight on my CRD. I fully expect my Liberty to go for 300K miles.
