Ideas for next SE QLD LOST run

anybody got any ideas for a SE QLD KJ run in the next month or two

How about a weekend at Cityview? Not that I've ever been there. How many of us have camping equipment?

Could even be a day trip to cityview.

I wouldn't mind another weekend away, but things are really starting to get busy lately so a day trip would be preferable for the moment.

Could do a Rainbow beach run...Nice drive up the beach from Noosa, then come back down Kings bore track to the beach. Bit of sun, a beach picnic, little swim, and nice drive through the back dunes/rainforest, nice day out. Not a BIG 4x4 day or anything but a good get together all the same.

A weekend at "The Springs" could be a go in a month or two. some real nice tracks out there, good facilities and nice scenery too.

THere's always Old Coach Road, bit of hard, bit of easy, could see if the SCJC want to tag along too.

What about the fabelled "Condamine" gorge trip, could always revist that one???

And where's Hutch???

My personal favorite is Levuka. Good camping, great tracks, dog friendly and hot showers. Kid friendly, on our last trip our 6mtn old loved it.
There is even a stocked dam if you want a fish. 2hrs from Bris on a good trip, which is not that bad. We are out for the next 6 weeks but after that.... :-)

Yeah levuka would be great, haven't been back there since I lifted the kj so I'd be in that one.

Team Jag (Jen & Greg)is up for another trip.Any of the venues mentioned sound good. Then there is Landcruiser Park. I've never been there but has good reports. Which ever we are in.

Hutch, is never too far away, i may drive a yota, but still a KJ boy at heart. Lets go for a play. Actually i will be playing all this week at Fraser Island. Just packed the Prado, compared to the KJ this car is enormous.

Yeah yeah....but dull as dishwater.

Drove the inland track to the top of Bribie last weekend and had a ball - lots of swampy boggy stuff.

We came back down the beach and because of the rain both the second and third lagoons had broken out. The Second looked a lot hairier than it actually was....not what you'd expect from Bribie anyway.

Anywhere is fine with the West's. Camping is good, so are day trips. I am definitely coming to this one!! :twisted:
