I am going to be adding a front hitch receiver to my 07 KJ. My winch is mounted on a receiver tongue already and it works great in the back, but now I want one on the front too. Cleanest, neatest and easiest way to do it I figure! I'm obivoauly going to bolt it up to my tow hook bolt holes. I thought I'd check it out on here first to see if anyone can save me the work.

Does anyone have the measurements and/or specs for one they have made or had made? If you do, could you please fire hem my way either via PM, post here or email. I'd greatly appreciate it!

If not, out comes the tape measure and pen!

maybe you can find a used one somewhere since they no longer make them, but if you can make maybe someone can supply measurements!

Be sure to share how you do it as others will surely want one for themselves.

I have some connections in the welding/fabing industry so... I'm gonna get one made. Like I said, I already have the winch on the mount and use it in my trailer hitch on the rear but...

I'm thinking simple. Just angled from tow hook bolt holes, down a bit, then across. I want the receiver to be recessed in enough that it sticks out ZERO! I think it looks so trashy with a big reciever thingy jutting out of the front of any vehicle. It's gonna be clean, simple, hidden and strong!!

When I get it all finished I will post post pics and specs. It will be a while... little busy as of late. But hopefully by the end of Sept. Keep y'all posted
