Hmmmm. RC looks like a capable drive 30 minutes closer than the original Paragon right? Looks like I got some work on the TJ to do for that drive!

If you're thinking of going to Rausch Creek, keep in mind that on October 20th they are having the Jeff Daniels Jeep ride and a cancer benefit ride by NJ Jeep club. So it might be crowded that day.

Richard, I take back roads from my house to get to I-83. It's about two and a half hours from my house to Rausch Creek. So if you wanted to follow me up, you'd probably want to meet near my house. Once a date is set and I'm sure I can go, I'll let you know so we can set something up. It actually might be faster for you to just go straight up I-81. You should check it out both ways and see what's quicker, unless you want to stay over one night some where.

No replies in the past week. Did this thread just die a slow lingering death? I would still like to get out and wheel sometime in October. Come on guys, what say you, are you in?

I'm still here. It's been a busy couple of weeks for me too. The YJ regearing to 456's is happening along with some engine work at Jeff Daniel's. This month I'll be riding on the 20th at RC and Nov. looks doubtful, so how does Dec 8th at RC sound?

I have to have my rear diff rebuilt but then I will be ready to rock. The parts are on the way now.

As far as the State Park in Maryland, I think you are talking about Greenridge State Park. It's out I-68 about 40 mins from Martinsburg and Inwood. It's really just a gravel, dirt, mud, waterhole road that runs through the state park. Real good for newbs but more expereinced guys will find it boring unless they are just going for a social event.

I think you guys covered all the other stuff in the area.

As long as the ride isn't Oct 20-21 I'll be there. I blew up the motor in my other car and my engine drop is scheduled for that weekend.

No date has been set yet, but I am really itching to get out and wheel. I would like to suggest a trip to Rausch Creek on November 10th. There's a guy down the street from me who just bought an 05 Rubicon who wants to go test it out. I told him we might be going in a few weeks so don't make a liar out of me. :)

At this point the 10th sounds good! RC - have not been ther yet am planning on going up this weekend with another group, but from what I hear it is a great place to take your ride out and have some fun.

I'll be on my way to the Dominican Republic on the 10th, so I'll have to miss this one. I try to hit RC once a month, so if anyone wants to ride just post up, any level (except red). Now I have to wash off yesterday's RC mud. Have a great ride.
