I tried ordering a 8.25 rebuild kit, 3.73 gears, axle bearings and seals, and a Detroit TT. When I went to pay the total came to something to the tune of $850, but when I got to paypal's site to pay it said I was going to be paying $815. For whatever reason paypal wasn't including the price of shipping. I e-mailed the guys over there and they havn't gotten back to me, and I'd really like to get this stuff ordered as soon as possible.

I tried 4wheelsupply and they have the rebuild kit and the R&P but they don't have the TT or the axle bearings. I'd really like to order everything from one place... Any advice?

Thanks,
Bill

Do a search on "Reider Racing-Gears and Rears".I believe their in Michigan. They carry a wide selection, and usually beat most others prices.Their shipping to Ohio was lightning fast, and everyone I talked to was very knoweledgable and friendly.
Check em' out and tell me what you think.

Jason, I appreciate your input but they are $50 more than what I was quoted from C-Comp, even before the shipping was thrown in...

Might it be that c-comp is just waiting until your parts actually ship before they charge you for the shipping?

Try 4WheelParts.com,they should be able to get all the parts needed(they can get just about anything you want, they can get way more then is listed on there web site, last time in there there parts catalogs where about 5 feet thick worth of them) though you may need to call a store,if you have one nearby.Plus they have free shipping if you pick the parts up at the store.

I wound up just buying axle bearings from Randy's Ring and Pinion, I got the R&P and the overhaul kit from 4 Wheelers Supply, and I got the detroit TT from a place called drivetrainspecialists.com... Everything came out to be cheaper than it would've been if I ordered everything from C-Comp, by about $40...

Thanks everyone for your input...

I came home and had the axle bearings sitting on my step. Randy must have shipped 10 minutes after I ordered 8)

The Detroit TrueTrac is due here tomorrow according to the UPS tracking number...
