Posted a page back Burchie...... pay attention man!! I guess the meeting spots are easy to find/figure out once you get there. I didn't have a chance to run up there to verify locations so I am just going to wing it. I will be meeting at the Primo burger in Mojave.



I am still not sure where to camp but by the sounds of it, there is lots of open camping areas so I am planning on just figuring it out aftr I get there. There are a few MJR guys that know the area and will show us where the good spots are to set up.

About 30 mins to Mojave and another hour from there to the trail area. Sleeping in to me is anything after 0500.

Checked the weather there a couple days ago and it's been in the mid-50 at night. That's not too cold (considering it's been in the mid-30s here).

Not much wheelin' here but a ton of Commanders, KJs, and JKs. It'll be good to get home to Calfornia after 3 weeks away here.

On the camping topic.....I've been over to MJR and between both forums nothing has been really decided on where we are camping. Are we just going to go out and where ever we decide to stop...drop... and camp? Or are we going to be meeting setting up a camp of some kind for those of us who are trailering rigs, bringing camping trailers, or rv's?

And if we are doing the stop, drop and camp....I'm assuming we should be toting along extra fuel as well as the other necessities? If I remember right, the last time we were out there there was a few of us that were running a little low on fuel and that was just a day trip.

I will be ready to stop drop and sleep whenever/wherever the group decides. It sounds like it is open camping along the trail similar to parts of Calico. Since I don't know where the good spots are, and a few from MJR seem to, I will just go w/ the flow and setup where they decide to stop. I have no idea on fuel but I will certainly be topping off in Mojave.

The only word I saw on trailers, etc is you can park them in the ranger station but I don't know for sure.

Looks like the weather should be nice. Gotta pack the long johns for the evening though. Looking forward to it! Anyone coming up the 14 want to follow, I will swing by the Costco parking lot at 0730-ish and leaving shortly after.

Channel 20 on CB up in increments of 2 if too much chatter on 20.
