in any case..hyde, chris..i can still convoy up, i can hook up w/ y'all at the rest area past the stew leonards (where we met up w/ you last year)

I can just go through the gwb...if not, i can drive up 287 and go straight there, either way, no biggie

It's the first rest stop on 87. about 15 minutes North of the Whitestone. When I get home I'll try to get coords.

The rest stop is just after exit 6A on I-87.
The coords in Google Earth are 40 deg 50' 56.92 N by 73 deg 51' 13.95 W

Anyone that wants to meet in Westchester can meet us here around 1100 or so.
Anyone that wants to meet in Queens/LI or so we gotta figure a place.

The actual meeting spot is the tower which is at the top of Perkin's Memorial drive.
It's an observation tower and is the highest point you can get to. If you pass the actual tower you will be heading back down the loop into the park.
