Thank you very much for all of the input. I'm definitely going with the OME lift. Hopefully, the weekend of Oct. 26-27. Now, can anyone tell me if I would be able to use 245/75/R16 tires... without trimming & banging? Thanks again all!

Depends on wheels/ backspacing/ tires some are wider than others all of that comes into play, tell us what you are planning and I am sure someone has already had that setup

Well, I'd like to go with Am. Eagle rims: of course 16", 5x4.5... +5mm offset & 4.625 bsm. Tire-wise, I'd want the Cooper Discoverer STT, 245/75/R16. Anyone have this set-up, something close?

The Am. Eagle rims are the "Series 137".

IDK about the AE wheels but my money is on
nope it will not work
we have the OME on the wifes KJ and to use 245/75 MTR's I had to melt & move and bang ,but just a little
and this was on the OE wheels

less backspacing well definitely help a little, too much will bring you right back to the same problem of rubbin, just when you are turning though. I would imagine that most people who have gone with the 245/75 tire size have pounded down their pinchweld and also cut a little bit of the plastic fender in the bottom front wheelwells. More backspacing will get the tires off the suspension components while also moving the tire closer to the outer edge of your fenders when the wheels are at full steer.
