Looks good. I thought those Coleman racks had the Coleman logo on the fairing. The faring just looks like it's plain with no logo.

I am wondering (I think I read somewhere in these posts) about the roof rake itself and the difference in the weights, the silver vs. the black rack, hollow vs thick, etc... Mine on my 05 Renny are silver with black plastic mounts to the roof. Does any one know or have an idea of weight limits? I plan to go the Home Depot cross rail route. That seems like a dependable and sturdy way to go. Tha invention is the greatest since sliced bread. Nothing but luggage and perhaps odds and ends that wouldn't fit in the back for the roof. I was thinking no more then 150 pounds to the roof.....safe bet?

There have been a few posts on here about the weight issue. I have had about 150# on there without a problem, 5hr drive.

Here's another pic of the unistrut stuff once it was done. The entire setup cost me $64 from Home Depot (including basket supplies) and $25 on craigslist for the bike racks.

its rainy and dark now, ill take pics tomorrow

but yes, they do lock....pretty good pieces...a little bit of a learning curve for me to install, they werent going on right but i was tightening one side too much which was tilting the other piece

but theyre good, they say theyre rated for 30kg each (66 lbs) and for a total of 60kg (135lbs)

not bad for 65 bucks shipped

Mine did not come with any stickers.

Here's how they will attach to the Yakima bars and the lowriders.

BTW I have the extension on my rack.

The uni-strut is a great idea, and I've been considering the coleman rack from costo. I've got the fat silver roof bars that come on the 05 rennys. Has anyone ever mounted the uni-struts/cross bars under the roof rails to kinda recess the rack between the roof rails a little?

My personal preference would be to not have the rack way up high on stilts :)

Well, p@@p. I just measured the distance between my roof rails and it's to small (36 1/2) to fit the coleman rack in between them. Maybe still a way to rig it up.

Ya I wanted to do the same, drop it below the stock rails. Post some pics if you figure out a way to put it lower
