The rain has come! Twin Arch Trail Ride SOON?

seems how it rained alot last night and are expecting a washout tomorrow, Twin Arch should be pretty nasty.
Any one up for a trail ride soon?

You are persistent man, aren't you. You want jeeps to get dirty.. Toys for Tots trip could be a good opportunity for you to solicit more people! :twisted:

I have a bunch of other guys that go to twin arch with me. Not Jeeps but we have our fun.
I am thinking about going some time after the TFT's run. maybe that day or another day

It is about a half hour drive North. It is close the I-87 so it is kinda easy to get to.

if you guys want to go lets get a list for the after effect for goodness. and mud :twisted:

I would like to go after the toys for tots run as long as we can make it over there before dark. I have no off road lights and I have never been there so I am not farmiliar with the place.

Once we're done TFT & lunch you'll be able to easily get in a couple hrs at Twin Arch before dark!

Albert, you sure wanna put a few stripes on your KJ?! I thought you were the "clean" type.. (like me).. But if we are going on the light trail, I may as well tag along. Do I need to get plated up? If it is rough terrain, I can just stop by the dealer and get my plate on. :twisted:

This will give me more reasons to buy stuff for KJ!!! :twisted:

Twin Arch trails has a mix going from a real mild oval "dirt track" which is practically totally flat, good for climbing the bank a little and taken some "poseur" shots, to real deep ruts/mud to deep brush. Guaranteed you can find any level of terrain you are comfortable with. Take a look at the video JeepDawg posted a while back and some of the photos we took previously. I'm unlifted but with skids yet the route I took I don't htink I bottomed a skid once when I was there.

Hyedipin....No I do not want to stripe up my KJ. I just got rid of some and got it all cleaned up. Cacher said the terrain is varied from mild to hard. I have hooks and skids and A/T's on but I am not lifted and no locker so I just need to be careful. I have a heavy duty recovery strap and shackle (used once) ......just in case. But I'm not ready to drive it through the bushes and stripe it all up. I don't mind the mud but don't want to have to get strapped out of a swamp again. I do want to check the place out though.

take a look at the recon vidoes I had posted and pictures. That will give you an idea at what is in Twin Arch. I think for the TFT day, if you guys want to just hit it we can stay up in the light areas. Will get pretty dirty still, but no stripping. I am stock lift with only front skid and I don't have problems. also I have the sagging springs.
FYI- My wife had even drove my KJ up at Twin Arch. (light areas and over rock walls)
Also take at the twin arch trail rules page. it has a birds eye of the land and stuff
