Groovin, ask them if -

1. they logged any DTC's at the time it went into the shop

2. if it has any current DTC's

Then see if they'll give you the then and now list to post here - long distance troubleshooting es no bueno por caca without a hint or two - EGR, 'cooler and puffer point toward a guesstimated airflow problem

The dysfunctional FCV should log any of several EGR and MAF codes, Bovie - MrMoservice can test it with the DRB scantool

"How do you test the FCV"

Start the motor, then turn off the motor and quickly get out of the jeep and run to the front of the car. Put your ear close to the hood and in a few seconds you should hear it click open.

If it sounds sluggish it's getting dirty. If you don't hear anything it's stuck.

The crisper the click sounds the cleaner it is.

You won't believe this.
They sent their tech to a CRD seminar and he was told to check all of the hoses - vacuum and such. He found a cracked fitting on one of the vacuum hose that must have been leaking when under pressure, but couild not be seen by the naked eye.
All I know is I have it back, and it seems to be running great.
Thanks everybody for your help.
I'll keep it - for now.... :D
