i dont understand why anyone would want to go with less light...... im about to rip the junk stock bar off as it is because their not bright enough. So i cant even imagine what 2 lights would be like. My hella's with 100w bulbs are twice as bright as all four of my lightbar lights..... i cant even tell that there on when i turn my hellas on except for the glare on my windsheild.

I kinda like my stock light bar. Well my KJ did not come with it stock, I actually bought it and installed it my self last year. I don't seem to have the glare that most people are saying about their light bars. Maybe it is because I have mine pointing up and out. The 2 middle lights are up and the 2 ends are pointing outwards.

It's a regulation in Europe that you can only have two lights above the windshield. I think that covers all of Europe, but I might be wrong.

I don't think you could put it on the back without some modification. I can't imagine it would fit in between the roofrails, so you'd have to remove, or alter, those. And I think the width of the roof tapers toward the rear of the vehicle. It might not, but the roofrails taper toward the rear, so I assume the roof does too.

I've done so many design drawing for rear-facing lights, I can't begin to talk about it. Funny thing is, I haven't done any of them. One of those projects that takes on a life of it's own whenever I start into it. Start thinking that a little light out back would be nice. End up fabricating a new rear bumper, gate, rear window, spare carrier, and roofrails...oh and enough light for the Super Bowl halftime show.

For $20 at autozone I got 2 small oval fog lights (burners by optronics or something like that). I mounted them under the rear bumper and wired them...didnt take long, cheap, and rovides really good light. Not like drivers, but I wasnt looking for drivers facing rear, just some good light for backing up, loading, etc. The fog lights do project quite a long way anyhow. Look pretty decent IMO, nice and small.

It looks ugly/weird and not because I'm used to seeing the four lights.
