I found factory skid plates online but they do not say 2002. Are they interchangeable with the different years?

Chris

All OEM skids will bolt right up besides the OEM tranny skid, will have to drill holes for it to mount right on a '02.

Thanks guys. Tjkj, your always a good source of info. Is it just a matter of drilling different holes? Doesnt seem to be a big deal. I wanted to get the oem and modify the tranny skid to strengthen it.

Thanks,

Chris

The tranny skid wont fit on 02 with just some drilling. The exhaust is routed different so youve got to either make a shim to push the skid down(which takes away clearance), or cut out a slot in the skid for the exhaust. Someone had some pics on here from where they cut a slot in it and also reinforced it.

Ive been reading that the engine skid got thinner over the years and looks alittle different.

The tranny skid should fit but you MAY have to drill a new hole for it. I had one hole that didnt line up on my 04. Gas tank skid is the same for all years as far as I know.
