crap, just checked the requirements for me to buy salvage in utah, $200 license fee on top of the bidders account..........grrr I guess I wont be bidding on spence's old Jeep since I dont even know what it would sell for, dont want to make a $400 investment just to find out it sold for too much.

Lol, who knows who will end up buying it now, utah has a couple of extra regs that would make it hard for me to be a buyer there.

Sorry Sam I didn't know it was such a pain to buy a salvage title in Utah. I should have had it towed to Idaho. Well next time the wife wrecks the CRD on the border I will have it towed to anywhere but Utah. :D

so sad to see a dead KJ, we should buy some land at MOAB and create a cometary. Sure it would seem silly but it would have people in that area scratching their heads in 100 years or so.

I am so impressed that your family came out OK, I've read other threads how well KJ's have held up in collisions with CJ's and such CJ taking the most damage. But still besides all that I find it very painful to see somebodys hard work and creativity destroyed. It was a truly inspirational ride that you obviously had a great deal of pride in. I reminds of years ago when my 260Z was stolen it was found 2 days later it took them 6 weeks to indentfy it just a body shell. It reminds me of that pain.

Have you seen that "what now?" commercial with the orange s30? They come out to it and the guy is saying "I think you'll like its, its all original and in really good shape." And then you see it up on blocks stripped.
