I like that trailer Blue KJ in PA. What is the manufacturer of it? It's not the trailer I've been seeing at Home Depot when I visit.

Wow daspes! First off, welcome to LOST. Your second and third posts are EXTREMELY helpful!! May I assume, since you have such knowledge of VA Beach and live in San Diego that you are in the NAVY? If so, thanks for your service to our country.

Thanks, Active for 17 years now. Left VA Beach 14 years ago, now. Just have to know the military system, and how we sell off our gear.

If you don't mind doing some welding to replace some bad areas, here's a good deal ($200) on a bigger military surplus trailer. It's located in NJ.:

My trailer is from Snowbear... http://www.snowbear.com/page/Utility_an ... e_Trailers

Not only are the sides removable but the front and rear gate can also lay flat so you can have a 12' long floor. Also the axle can be moved more forword or further back depending on what you will be hauling. The bed does tilt to dump or load something like a tractor. I think the price was $699.

nice looking trailer, I would say maybe a Bantam, not a 1/4 ton military for sure since it has a tail gate no hand brake and the rounded fenders like that, Sure is nice, think I saw that on one of the other sites a while back Now if only we could find about 20 of those in that shape! Looks like early 50s Pontiac tail lights on there as well, cool

If you get back through VABeach Daspes, give a shout. We'll go out for a beer or something. Thanks again for the heads-up on the GSA auctions!

Holy cowplop Stick! That trailer is HUGE! It's not the floor that's huge, it's the tires! I could put a pintle hitch in the middle of my spare tire and it might line up perfectly! The guy selling it has it attached to a YJ with at least 6" of lift and it's still not level. Thanks for the link, but I don't think that would ever work behind a KJ (even with my lift). Too bad too...$200 is well within my budget!

I saw that landscape trailer on the Snowbear site Blue KJ in PA, but yours looked a little different, so I didn't think it was that one. It's pretty cool though! I like how you can fold the panels down for a flat floor...very sweet. If I don't get a military surplus trailer, that one is definitely going on my "Possible" list. Yours doesn't look like it has fenders over the tires. Did you take them off?

Maximum Carnage, that trailer is just THE hotness! That is pretty much EXACTLY what I would like in a trailer. I even love the CanBack rollup top and the cross-bars on top. Who's trailer is it?!

I have no idea who it belongs to but it is a Bantam. I’ll see if I can locate it again.

One of the pics has the fenders on...I think the last one...I have them off right now because I'm gonna herculine them. My trailer is not on their website at Snowbear anymore but the Utility trailer model 6000 is the current version. I got mine a 3 yrs ago and I believe it was model 8000HD. In addition to the dump bed and the fold flat front and rear, I like the fact it had metal floor with wood insert so I could change out the wood later on when it deteriorates rather than having metal go bad.

edit: here is mine it is on their strongbox trailers website. http://www.strongboxtrailers.com/page/M ... ty_Trailer

Specs: http://www.strongboxtrailers.com/page/M ... _Trailer_a

Those are sweet but I wouldn't want to be pulling around 3/4 of a ton I'd be interested in 1/4. The M-416 or a Bantam are my favorite.

my favorites as well. Yes everyone seems to think the ones like in number 1 would be great until they see them but if you had a 6X6 they would work great!
the last one is not too bad but someone has cut out part of the tailgate?

Maybe we just need to head to Canada and pick a few up!

I’m not sure I was correct in the way I related to the trailer weight in my earlier post. “I wouldn't want to be pulling around 3/4 of a ton” I don’t think this trailers weight that I’m thinking is that the max they can carry, axle capacity? What do you guys know about this?
