LOST NYC and Long Island

I see a lot of liberties on my daily route, some of them regularly.. I have parked next to a black rene with rock rails last weekend on sears parking lot on franklin ave. I hate the fact that with all these liberties, non of us take advantage of it. Most of those drivers out there don't even care that they are driving a Jeep.

Anyway, let's make a list of all people in 5 boros and Long Island right here.
has this been done before? if not, lets start.

Also suffolk county you can tell by my screen name LI (Long Island) KJ owner. Im in outside sales , riding the long island roads all day long, from the distress ways to the parkways.

I was supposed to get together with billforde, but haven't had a chance, and there are also a few more jeepers around here, it shouldn't be difficult to manage a few people and hang around.. it is always hard to get people together in the summer, for some reason.

I'm new here. I live in Massapequa and work in Mineola. I just picked up my KJ on Monday. I got on '04 Sport 4x4. Do you guys ever have any meets on the Island? Are there any trails on the Island? Forgive me if these questions have been asked before, I'm new to the whole off-road scene.

not much going on in the island.
we had a few people in mineola, franklin and surrounding area.. I was supposed to get together with billforde, i never had time.. what a shame.
Also there has been meets up at montauk, a while back.

Other than that, we all up for it, but what are we really gonna do on the island, we cant even get to the long beach dunes .. last i checked it was all bushes

I'm in Brooklyn. I just got my '04 Limited in June so I'm looking forward to the snow right now. So far I've only been sort of off-roading (in this Jeep) out by Hither Hills in Montauk.

Hopefully I’ll be taking some trips soon, right now I have my eye on the Pine Barrens in NJ.

I’m itching to get on some trails. Anyone know about any trails around here.
