I had my left rear window regulator go out a few months ago and had it replaced under warranty. Yesterday I was putting it down- probably maybe the 6th or 7th time since the fix, and there was the familiar grinding noise that has left me with a window falling into the door and not staying up. I hate the stealerships and do all of my own routine maintenance. The last thing I want to do is to go back there and waste half a day. This sucks chrysler...get your stinky poo together and forget about using so much plastic in your piece of crap regulators!!
Rant over, thankyou...

I say you write a letter to Chrysler and the stealership, maybe the work was not done properly  I believe I’ve read on here that it was some plastic that might be causing this.

Has anyone tried to take the panel off to see if the regulator can be repaired? What actually breaks?

I can empathize. Window regulators are garbage!

Mods - Mopar side bars, 4 window regulators. What, windows aren't mods? Maybe I could spend money on cooler stuff if they'd stop breaking!!!! =P

just as a heads up...when the window falls down inside the door, sometimes its not the regulator and its just the crappy plastic retaining clips that hold the window that break...again, crap plastic, but I've been through this so many times with the wifes car, that I know it can be the 25 cent clips that break and the regulator is just fine. something to look into possibly.
