There is not an AT tire on the market that doesnt do that. Some are better than others but I would say the difference is negligible.

I have heard from a few family members that their vatiiva at's wore quickly...but its possible they were out of alignment or didnt rotate...etc.etc... They are great in the snow though....and if they had a better/more agressive looking sidewall/shoulder lugs they would sell a lot more of them.

Vatiiva's are all-terrain tires that do well in all seasons. Their winter tire lineup is designed for more extreme winter conditions and has different lugs and siping.

They don't really make a really aggressive-looking tire except for their M/Ts which are nasty!

I never had any trouble with the Grabbers on wet roads at all. They performed very well in all sorts of conditions for me, with the one exception of smooth ice (the kind you find at intersections before the sand trucks show up). Those few blocks of driving on ice were really hairy.

I think he meant studded tires suck in the rain...

Oh, gotcha. I've never tried studs on wet pavement, but I'll bet he's right about that.

Studs SUCK on dry pavement as well!!
