I installed these in about 10 min. but I dont have them wired yet, I need a lil help doing that, I need to know which wires are which from the stock pigtail except for the turn signals, im going to cut off the plug from the stock wires but what goes to what? from stock to new?? there are three wires black, red and green, Im guessing red=power, black=ground and green=??

Do you have a circuit tester?

Connect it to a ground and use the pointed end to see which circuit is which.

Theory: Red is for the turn signals HOT and Green is for the Parking Light HOT and black is for the common ground to both.

I would get a tester, cheap one with a point on it like an ice pick, and connetct to a ground, then turn on your parking lights and see which one lights up the tester. The test the other with the tunr signal activated.

DO NOT GUESS

Those little 5.00 testers come in VERY handy for many little jobs. Well worth the money.

Tghey also don't work with standard flashers. They draw too little current to activate the flashers and can cause a malfunction. New flashers aren't cheap either.

LEDs will work if you only have them on one end of the system like just fronts, but not both , there are several ways/ little tricks around it including having the regular bulb still in the system but behind the bumper or something with just the LED showing. LEDs are way cheaper in the long run and look way cool as well Uou can also buy a flasher that will work and the prices are coming down on them finally.
