I wish jacking the horse power up on this thing was that easy....i know in the old days, all you would have to do is either put a larger carb on or just change the jet in the one you already have...but now because of electronics, the only way to achieve this it to use either a laptop or a scan tool to edit the fuel table parameters

Nope. Wasn't an open-casket funeral either.

Ride a slow bike, the fat chicks can catch up easier

KJ4ME, have you had your KJ to the stealership to get that holding speed issue resolved?

we're on transmission number 2 after the torque converter and a clutch pack went into self destruct mode. i havent driven it to the springs with the new setup yet but when i get back ill see what happens

oh, well since I wasn't the one to bring it up, I've got to 165 on a motorcycle...what's really scary isn't going that fast but trying to slow down safely. I don't even want to think about going that fast in something as aerodynamic as a brick.

Well, one thing going for the brick is that it does slow down pretty fast without the use of brakes... I got my CRD to 105 going up a 8% grade (had to seat those rings!). When I decided to slowdown it did not take much at all... I would not want to go that fast going down the same hill, however.

109mph on the CRD is quite attainable. Mine did so up a slight incline too. Didn't try to hold it there for long or pushed it even harder than that. I like to cruise it at around 2000rpm at 60mph or 2400rpm at 75mph when on the highways in Denmark. Mmmmm.

You must have a stick...at 60 mph the Torque Converter is locked up and doing around 1,700 prm or a bit less.

I daily get my CRD to 120mph to and from work. Life begins at 150mph. BTW my tires are rated to 130mph.
