ok.... i just completed a full system oil change..over all it wasn't to bad but the next time i do it, there are a few tricks i will do...
first the rear differential..... most of the rear bolt are easy to get to, if you jack up the the rear of the vehicle on the frame, it makes it easer to get to the few bolts that the track bar covers up.....also, no gasket, just a crap load of rtv
the transfer case was really easy, but watch out when you pull the plug because it comes out fast
the manual transmission wasn't to bad but the drain for the manual transmission is in a bad spot...when you pull the plug, you will probably splash the crossover tube for the exhaust
the engine was easy but the filter is a pain....i removed the oil drain thingy to make it easer to get the filter off the next time(the oil thingy is a pita to remove)
the front diff was easy as well...it has a oring drain plug on the bottom and was easy to fill

now the whole trick to this job is to have an oil suction gun like the one at the bottom

I would recommend to all kk owner to change out the rear diff...the fluid in there is like water....
I used castrol syntec for the crank case and royal purple products for every thing else this go around and i can feel the difference....but the real test will come when i fill up next time

also if any one wants, the oil thingy is for sale

You might consider the next time you do a change try one those oil filter relocation kits. That way you can mount it where you don't even need to bend over and go underneath also get one of those quick coupler type drain plug set ups it make the whole pita a breeze. If you want to take it a step further get a oil cooler kit and it will help aslo less heat less damage and slower degradtion of the oil. Just a thought, I'm always looking for ways to make a task easier.
