Has this happened to anyone else???

I was on my way home and did a quick run off onto the highway and the pedal stuck to the floor. Was able to kick it off after a few boots but...if this was my better half with my kids...I dont want to think about the potential for disaster. I am off to the stealership in the am to check into this pronto.

It has happened to lots of people-- it is been the pedal getting stuck under the throw matt. Usually an all weather thick mat. It that is not it, then you have a unique situation.

Yes - it was the mat for ours. It's happened to both my wife and I.

Add me to the list. I had it at the dealer for service and they always wash and vacuum it. The yard man pulled the mat and didn't re-attach it to the clip in the carpet. It was better than a carnival ride for the adrenalin rush  .

happened to me in my 74 Challenger, very scary. this case it was a linkage problem but with the CRD being drive by wire most likely the floor mat caused a problem.
