yes they are but by replacing the lens you get more distance than just replacing the bulb

if you go to your auto parts store, have a look at a driving lens , a pinpoint lens and a fog lens, you will see the difference

Are you gouys using the 9005's in both the headlights and foglights?

If not, do you know of any good high intensity bulbs for the headlights?

thanks

is there anyway to keep your fogs on when you goto hi-beam? my old car would leave the fogs on and it does great in curves and such.. sometimes when i am driving i hold the hi/lo switch open so everything is on for a few secs for better visability.. any ideas?

also easier way to hookup HELLA lights to brush bar.. could i hook them to fog switch too?

Just performed the 9005 foglight upgrade this evening, and I'm liking it. After about 15 min. of driving with one new bulb, it was only slightly warmer than the stock wattage, though that was with a fairly cool ambient temp of around 0 C. Here's my comparison pic, (one light seems to be aimed a little higher than the other).

Edit: wow, I just noticed this thread is from 2005. I though the last post was from today!
