How do you adjust the e-brake on a libby with rear disks? I tried searching the tech forum but only found how to change the entire brake setup. Not much about the e-brake though...

The emergency brakes are brake shoes incorporated in a mini-drum part of the rear rotors. You have to put the Jeep on jack stands remove the rubber insert from the backing plate and adjust them with a brake spoon. While your adjusting them you spin the wheel til you feel slight drag then back off a turn, do this both sides. Of course the brake is off when you do this. Joe

Ive posted two threads on how to adjust it at two places.

Seems like the adjustments in the handle itself is the problem with the ebrake not holding. I can adjust the handle inside the Jeep and it works great until I pull up to hard. IE, parked on a big hill. After that it seems like the handle slips and puts slack back into the cable.

If there was a way to lock up that crappy clutch on the ebrake handle then it would work great all the time.

When adjusted, two-three clicks will hold it on a big hill.

I can also lock the back wheels up when going down the road if its adjusted properly. Ive only done that twice as it cannot be good on the drive-train to suddenly lock up when your going 30mph.
