I've got a question for those who have trimmed off the lower part of the bumper. Does this mod make the bumper or the flares noticeably weaker? Do they flex or vibrate? I remember the air dam, bumper, and flares being pretty interconnected when I installed my front hitch. I like the look and may do it myself one day - after a lift and bigger tires probably.

Thanks for the complements guys. I love the look of the trim job too. Much improvement. But, every mod seems to lead to another... Now I have room for 265/75-16 tires which would look sharper and fill the void better (right now I have 245/75-16). There doesn't seem to be any change at all in noise or buffeting, and the bumper is still plenty strong. I think that heavy valance hanging down, if anything, only put more stress on the rest of the bumper when it got caked up full of mud.

The Buckshot Mudder tires are great on and off road. They are the perfect balance of just about everything.

On road: They are computer designed to be quiet on the road (quiet for a mud tire), siped center blocks for traction in the wet and rain, long lasting for a mud tire, factory balanced and trued for a very smooth ride and minimal suspension wear; able to accept snow studs. Overall, about the best riding mud tire you can get for the road. These have better road and wet traction than the stock Goodyear ST Wranglers did.
Off road: large voids between the tread blocks to clean out very well in the mud and slop, but not so aggressive they dig too much in the sugar sand; EXTREMELY tough, practically indestructible carcass; the only complaint I've ever heard of with these tires is some chipping on the rocks, but personally have never had this problem (must be because of the siped center blocks).

Best of all, they are CHEAP for a mud tire. I'm getting more when these wear out.

I'll work on getting more pics up soon for your enjoyment.
